    In this research was studied the relationship between the variables of human resources and organizational performance, particularly in the context of family businesses in Colombia. A non-experimental empirical research was conducted, where we found the impact of the dependent variable, human resources, on performance; Where upon it is supported as a not easily imitable organizational competitive advantage. In an organization is useful to recognize the needs of the company, thus making efficient human resource practices that lead to it to have a high performance.
