Ítem Cartografía fotosensible de la vereda Los Limones. Un ejercicio de participación infantil comunitaria.(Universidad Icesi, 2020-01-01) Silva Jaramillo, Jenniffer; Vergara Figueroa, Aurora; Asesor TesisEste artículo describe la manera en que la Fundación Changuito Visual implementó la cartografía fotosensible como herramienta de intervención social, para posibilitar el protagonismo de lxs niñxs de la vereda Los Limones, Cali - Valle del Cauca en su territorio. Esta iniciativa hizo parte de los proyectos ciudadanos de educación ambiental (PROCEDA), una estrategia Nacional de sostenibilidad ambiental fundamentada en la educación, la participación, la concertación y la voluntad política de las comunidades. La Fundación Changuito Visual, con el objeto de contribuir desde la mirada infantil a la solución de los problemas ambientales de la vereda creó la cartografía fotosensible. Un mapeo social que destaca la importancia de la diversión y la imaginación como recurso lúdico para generar relaciones dialógicas entre lxs niñxs, lxs adultxs y su territorio, y contribuir a la creación de una nueva cultura de infancia, una que también transforme desde la comprensión, el respeto y la diversidad el territorio en el que crecen. Se evidencia que generar actividades y/o acciones artísticas de fortalecimiento territorial, enmarcadas en las políticas nacionales de educación; promueven la participación activa de las niñas y los niños, empoderandolxs como agentes legítimos en la transformación de su territorio.
Ítem Ecopolitical mapping: a multispecies research methodology for environmental communication.(Universidad Icesi, 2022-03-30) Benöhr, Jens; Brinksma, Maike; Donihue, Ross; Farò, David; Lara, Antonia; Lena Virik, Kara; Ponce de León, Alejandro; Toro, Cristian; Gygli, Bastian; Romo, Daniel; Walther, Franziska E.Ecopolitical Mapping is a methodology which seeks to map encounters of love and di-saster between humans and their more-than-human surroundings. This methodology, first coined by a transdisciplinary group of artists and researchers in South Chile, unfolds through collective mapping sessions using an ecopolitical approach to trace the power relationships between different species-beings. In this research document, we unpack our engagements with this methodology in three different scales and territories: the Biobío Watershed (Chile), Berlin City (Germany) and Europe (Continent). Each case presented a strong environmental communication component, which ended up with the translation of the stories of the encounters into illustrated maps. The methodological approach pro-posed here is intimate, political and situated. The map evolves from a supposed politically neutral artifact into a tool for environmental education, communication, and activism. We offer the notion and approach, hoping that this methodology can be practiced and refined by other humans, allies of the tentacle kinship.Ítem Esquemas sobre la contratación digital(Universidad Icesi, 2025-09-01) Arenas Jaramillo, Juan Fernando; Rodríguez Serna, Luz AmparoEl libro busca facilitar la comprensión y aplicación de los conceptos y la normativa que regula la contratación digital. Este campo, cada vez más relevante, plantea nuevos retos en la formación, ejecución y cumplimiento de contratos, derivados del uso de tecnologías emergentes y un marco regulatorio en constante adaptación. A lo largo de sus capítulos, el texto aborda de forma estructurada aspectos clave como los elementos esenciales de los contratos digitales, las herramientas de formalización, las obligaciones de las partes y los principios fundamentales que los rigen. Además, analiza el impacto de tecnologías como la firma digital, la cadena de bloques (blockchain) y los contratos inteligentes, así como la regulación de la protección de datos personales y la privacidad en este tipo de acuerdos. La obra está diseñada para ofrecer un enfoque práctico, con esquemas que resumen los principales temas, la normativa aplicable, la jurisprudencia y ejemplos prácticos. Their magic lies in “making visible, the invisible”: that which silently resides beneath our skin. We rarely ask ourselves what our stomach or our heart looks like, even when we try to document with photographs what we eat and what we feel. The truth is, since the 1970s, almost all human beings obtain their first visual record during a prenatal ultrasound and, from then on, our life and well-being are documented through diagnostic and therapeutic imaging. This book leads us to understand the process by which diagnostic images of the brain are created by magnetic resonance in an Imaging Unit of a high-complexity clinic in the city of Cali, in 2018. For this, Esthepania, its author, undertook the task of introducing the reader to the specificities of the resonance machine that facilitate the creation of these images, their usefulness in the diagnosis of various diseases, as well as the trades and knowledge that emerge from their use. All this, thanks to a diligent exercise of ethnographic observation and immersion. The research problem that allowed the creation of this project was born in a moment of catharsis. Seven years ago, Esthepania began to investigate the process of producing magnetic resonance neuroimages, due to a health problem of her mother that has not yet been fully diagnosed. 'Cartografiando una tierra incógnita' (Mapping an Unknown Land) is therefore a metaphor that refers to all the obstacles that she and her family have had to overcome to find an answer, and it leads us to understand the usefulness of these forms of diagnosis, due to the access and “mapping” they offer of an organ as complex as the brain. The reader who ventures to navigate the following pages will stimulate their imagination through historical and anthropological data that explain the historical and clinical specificities that have facilitated the production of this particular type of images. This journey through unknown lands begins in the Middle Ages, the moment when anatomical theaters were born and the first portraits of bodies or corpses, drawn by hand and under candlelight, emerged. Then, we will begin to navigate through those technological devices of the 19th and 20th centuries that allowed the transition from drawing to taking images; an example of this is the X-ray machine. Little by little, the reader will arrive at the Diagnostic Imaging Unit, through dense descriptions that will take them through narrow corridors, to lie down inside the resonance machine, to visualize the panic button, and to hear the “ghostly” voice of the technician telling them “don’t fall asleep, we’re almost done.” Undoubtedly, these types of anecdotes help to understand why another physics reigns in the resonance room. Imagining all this is made possible through this text, as throughout the chapters, fragments of interviews conducted with health professionals working in the Unit are included, whose voices enable these “mental images.” Due to the confidentiality of data from the visited medical institution, photographs of these places could not be included; only two drawings made by the author alluding to some of the described spaces, very generally, were included. Esthepania, in an enjoyable and creative way, undertakes the task of describing for you the architecture of the spaces, the physical laws that “govern” the machine and the space in which it is located, the way this configures trades and hierarchies among biomedical engineers, technologists, and neuroradiologists. Above all, to understand how all these elements fragment the human body during image acquisition.
