Competencias docentes y estrategias didácticas para favorecer aprendizajes en estudiantes con discapacidad auditiva en educación superior.

This research identifies and characterizes the teaching skills that foster the implementation of teaching strategies that benefit the learning of students with hearing disabilities, in the Graphic Design program at the Fundación Academia de Dibujo Profesional. The methodology used in the study was non-experimental descriptive, the techniques used to collect data were interviews and documentary analysis , which analyzed the teaching strategies that were developed from five categories corresponding to teaching skills : pedagogical and didactic , social and communicative , leadership , organizational and research. Among the most important conclusions reached are: pedagogical reflection as a means by which to challenge, expand knowledge, be creative, try new strategies and inclusive environments as a mechanism to recognize and value diversity . A teacher responsible for the inclusion shows interest to investigate and recognize the characteristics that occur when a person has a physical disability, in order to develop appropriate teaching strategies for their learning.
