Currently Cali has suffered an increase in its touristic visitors compared to last year, even more, informal tourist known as “mochileros” are also increasing. They find themselves obligated to come to Cali on their road trip through South America, taking the city as a resting place or to enjoy what it has to offered. But nevertheless, Cali’s vibrant nightlife and Salsa culture are what most tourist experience. This attractions could be the reason for the increment in tourism, but other city aspects are been lost such as its architectural patrimony and historical memory.
