Ítem “El Pacífico no vive sin redes sociales”: estrategias de re-existencia y vida comunitaria(Universidad Icesi, 2024) Caicedo Camacho, Deyner A.; Saldarriaga Velasco, Johan SebastiánThis article seeks to reveal the patterns of relationship and interaction that are interwoven within three community-based organizations with fields of action in the Colombian Pacific, led by black women, from the deployment of traditional cooking practice. The research bet is novel as it uses the theory of social network analysis (ARS) to delve into the relational ecosystems of these communities, thus opening an unexplored research route in the field of community communication studies in Colombia. The methodological approach is qualitative and a semi-structured interview as an exploratory element was considered as data collection tools, and a questionnaire to further investigate the dynamics of interaction between these communities and the group of actors in their organizational environment. The study found that, in these communities, traditional cuisine acquires a practical and symbolic value; that it stands as a space of conspiracy for advocacy by black women and that, as a practice, it is developed in connection with five intervention agendas that are mobilized through multiple strategies, and that are possible thanks to the collaboration of fifty-eight external actors.
