This article discusses an application of the well-known Stepping Stone method, to determine the optimal navigation time for an online banking application user. The method allows to obtain the navigation route in which most of the informative fields in the page are visited, with minimum effort and minimum spent time. This navigation route is then used as a baseline for the web site design.

This article presents the result of the research work done by a group of teachers of the Center of Learning Resources of the University (CREA), in their need to try to give response to the following question: Is it possible to elaborate a design method for the construction of hypermedia documents, that can be used by teachers of different disciplines, independent of their knowledge on methodologies and authoring tools? The first part of this document presents, in a succinct way, a theoretical review of some of the existing methodologies for the design of hypermedia documents. The second part presents the methodological proposal developed by the group of teachers, for the design of hypermedia documents, based on graph structures. The last part is the presentation of the prototype developed using the proposed methodology, done by a professor of the University who works in a discipline different from those of Systems Engineering or of Multimedia Design.

Hackers can decrypt and read data on a wireless link protected by builtin WEP encryption, and may even able to access the data on a wired network through a Wi-Fi access point. The authors assess Wi-Fi network security in on Santiago de Cali (Colombia) city used War-X techniques

(Universidad Icesi, 2006-10-11) Mazuera Grisales, Eduardo; Vélez Beltrán, Jorge Alberto; Gamboa , Carlos A.; Herrera Botero, Francisco Julián; Navarro Newball, Andrés Adolfo; Cardona Aristizabal, Andrea
With the development of this project, a great aide is presented to the user of the prototype «Análisis, diseño e implementación del prototipo de un entorno de práctica de habilidades quirúrgicas en Otorrinolaringología». This aide will help the user to acquire the space-anatomic positioning ability, which allows the user to associate what he sees on 2D radiological slices with what he sees through the virtual endoscope of the simulation environment. To achieve the cited ability, the user is presented with radiological images (tomography slices) with red marks that represent the current position of the endoscope he is using in the simulation environment.

The space-time wireless communication systems will use the advantages of the MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) channels. Precedent studies have focused less attention on the capacity analysis considering correlated indoor channels under different frequency bands and polarizations. In practice, there is certain correlation degree between the different propagation sub-channels, which makes interesting to evaluate the impact that this correlation has on the system performance under different frequency bands and polarizations. The paper shows a detail study around of real MIMO channel and its spectral efficiency behavior when change both the number of antenna elements and SNR (Signal to Noise Ratio).

In this paper the development of a complementary module for the WESST - OT simulator is presented. The module allows the interchange of surgical instruments used in a nasal sinus surgery. This module was developed taking into account that in the original simulator it was possible to interact only with an endoscope and that the nasal sinus surgery requires more surgical instruments such as the Blakesley and Kerrison forceps, useful to support other techniques in addition to the orientation skill.
