Ítem Una forma moderna de sociabilidad: inicio de la Masonería en Chile (1862)(Universidad Icesi, 2018-01-01) Parada Ulloa, Marcos MauricioThe present study is a heuristic and interpretative analysis of, the foundational history of masonry in Chile during the second half of the nineteenth century. The institutionalization of masonry in Chile started with the foundation of the Gran Logia de Chile (The Great Lodge of Chile) in 1862, which favored the consolidation of the Order inside the country. In the next decades, masonry expands to other cities with the foundation of lodges involving Chileans as well.Ítem Seguridad y control geopolítico: Crónica de la Iniciativa para la Prosperidad del Triángulo Norte de Centroamérica(Universidad Icesi, 2018-01-01) Villafuerte Solís, DanielThe purpose of this article is to present the general conception of the Plan Alliance for Prosperity of the Northern Triangle, one of several programs promoted by President Barack Obama to stop the migration of children and adolescents from Central America traveling unaccompanied by their family members, on the framework of a regional security global strategy, which includes the southern border of Mexico as a territory for the transit of migrants and drugs.
