Resumen

La idea de realizar este estudio surgió de una situación real de conflicto en el aula de clase de los estudiantes del grado 7-6 de la Institución Educativa Técnico Comercial Hernando Navia Varón que llevó a formular como objetivo general, desarrollar una estrategia pedagógica por proyectos para resolver los conflictos que afectan la convivencia. La propuesta metodológica tiene enfoque cualitativo y el tipo de estudio es descriptivo, los sujetos de la investigación son los 26 estudiantes del grado en mención.

Abstract

This research has been concerned with developing strategies to help improve school life in a seventh graders group of high-school Hernando Navia Varón. The methodological proposal had a qualitative approach and the case study a descriptive one. 26 students are part of the group and they all were part of the project.The pedagogical strategy consists of setting up a task force called Gestores para la Convivencia (School life advocates) which is a group of students trained to mediate between victim and victimizer. They look after reviewing each case and helping resolving conflict at school. This strategy positively impacted 11 cases and was adopted as a school policy for conflict resolution because if its efficacy. During the development of this research some of the students which were part of the cases decided to drop out for different reasons and other cases had to be documented. This fact delayedthe development of the project because of the data requirements for proper analysis.
