    The main objective of this project is to design a solution that effectively addresses the dilemma faced by parents regarding the integration of technological devices in the upbringing of their children aged between 6 and 8 years. To achieve this goal, the project follows the double diamond framework of innovation, which encompasses the suggested phases from discovery to development. By employing this approach, a functional prototype was developed, allowing parents to interact with it and validate the desirability of the solution. Furthermore, the project aims to assess the viability of the proposed financial model for the mobile application that will be made available in the market

    Sistematización de la experiencia de la terapeuta de desarrollo infantil dirigida a la primera infancia con autismo: una mirada a la intervención en el marco del programa de intervención temprana de New Jersey (NJEIS)

    This thesis, based on the systematization of experiences, focuses on the professional practice of a Special Educator in her role as a Child Development Specialist, providing developmental therapy to children at risk of acquiring a disability; specifically, children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in the New Jersey Early Intervention program (NJEIS) in Hudson County. Through the systematization of the professional's experience, we aim to analyze how early intervention is implemented for children at risk and/or with ASD through developmental therapy, evaluating the therapeutic and educational strategies employed, the progress made by the children during the process, and the involvement of families in the intervention. During the systematization of the experience, we adopted a hermeneutic approach that facilitated a deep understanding of the realities experienced during the professional journey. For this purpose, we selected two specific case studies of children with ASD, “Sergio” and “Matias.” We utilized field notes, structured interviews, and semi-structured interviews as tools to collect the necessary information. The findings from this study allowed us to confirm the significance of early intervention in the lives of children with ASD. Additionally, it enabled us to appreciate how the therapist successfully implemented pedagogical and therapeutic strategies, taking into account the sociocultural context of each family and the individual needs of each child, as well as analyzing the families’ participation throughout the process and its impact on the intervention.

    Sistematización de experiencias en la intervención interdisciplinar con niños de 1 a 6 años, inscritos al programa Consentidos de una Fundación de Neurodesarrollo en Palmira, Valle del Cauca

    Esta tesis realiza una sistematización de experiencias bajo el enfoque crítico de Oscar Jara (2018), orientada a analizar las estrategias educomunicativas empleadas por profesionales de la salud en Palmira (Valle del Cauca). El estudio evalúa el impacto de la comunicación educativa en tres familias pertenecientes al programa de estimulación multisensorial "Consentidos", buscando potenciar su rol como co-terapeutas en el neurodesarrollo infantil. A través de un enfoque cualitativo e interdisciplinar, la investigación deconstruye los procesos de adaptación, creencias y hábitos familiares para diseñar acompañamientos asertivos que eviten la deserción terapéutica y garanticen un entorno óptimo para el crecimiento de la primera infancia.
