Motivation and immersion play key roles in language learning through video games. Motivation can lead students to dive into these learning resources outside of class time, while immersion keeps them close to diverse communities that speak the language they desire to learn. MMORPGs (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Games) are designed around providing people with many opportunities to interrelate with others, which means they have plenty of room for writing and speaking. Also, being a part of a virtual world they can interact with, can make students more involved with what they are seeing, reading, writing, and listening to.Ítem Improving writing and reading in english through the eclectic method with fourth grade students.(Universidad Icesi, 2022-01-01) Ocampo Jurado, Leydy Tatiana; Barrera, Jimmy; Asesor TesisThis research project was developed in the Agustin Nieto Caballero institution which is a public school with fourth-grade students of primary school and was planned and developed by the English teacher of the morning shift.
