Sueños de río. Soñando en comunidad : creación de experiencias que impulsen el imaginario social.

Abstract

Pance es el único río que puede ser usado para el consumo humano en la ciudad de Cali. Actualmente el destino del mismo está en peligro, una variedad de situaciones ( la expansión de Cali, el descuido de los turistas, la falta de interés de las autoridades, falta de comunicación) han llevado al corregimiento a buscar soluciones y estrategias para salvar el espacio. Recorrido a través de diferentes corrientes del diseño y sus aplicaciones en el proyecto planteado. Propuestas para la creación de una instalación cuyas interacciones faciliten acercamientos entre habitantes y turistas donde se puedan escuchar y compartir diferentes puntos de vista acerca del futuro de Pance con el fin de crear imaginarios colectivos que incentiven el cambio. Pance is the only river that is apt for human use in the city of Cali, Colombia. The future of this river is in danger due to a variety of situations ( the growth of the city, the lack of interest from tourist and the authorities and the lack of communication in the community) which has put the community on the search for solutions and strategies that can help to improve the space. Walk through different design currents and their applications on the proposed project. Proposals for the creation of an interactive installation in which the interaction can breach through the gap between inhabitants and tourists in order to listen and share different points of view about Pance’s future in order to create social imaginaries that can encourage change
