Diseño e implementación de un sistema efectivo que potencie el comportamiento natural de loros en cautiverio por tráfico ilegal AVIRD

El proyecto AVIRD es una solución de diseño que busca generar bienestar animal a loros victimas del cautiverio por tráfico ilegal, principalmente a las especies Amazona Amazónica y Amazona Ochrocephala, comúnmente conocidos como loros cachete-amarillo y loro frente-amarillo, identificados como el género con mayor presencia en los centros de rehabilitación y conservación de fauna silvestre; por medio de un sistema modular que permita estimular el comportamiento natural del ave que se ha visto afectado debido a la humanización, a través de diversas actividades y materiales que potencien y desarrollen el instinto natural de este, incentivando la resocialización y el enriquecimiento ambiental de la especie. En este documento encontrará cifras y datos relevantes del tráfico ilegal de fauna silvestre decomisada o incautada por las entidades pertinentes del país; causas, consecuencias y posibles soluciones con base en esta problemática que afecta los ecosistemas e interrumpe el ciclo natural de estos. El proyecto busca identificar las actividades que potencien la rehabilitación en las aves, recreando por medio del diseño un sistema que fomente y fortalezca comportamientos naturales de las aves perdidos por la humanización, a través de actividades, materiales y movimientos que lo estimularán a desarrollar de manera natural dicho comportamiento. Con el fin de generar bienestar animal y mejorar las capacidades de subsistencia de la especie, condición que permitirá pensar en una posible liberación o reinserción al hábitat natural del ave y continuar con el ciclo biológico natural establecido.

The project seeks to identify factors that enhance rehabilitation of birds, recreating through design a system that encourages and strengthens the natural comportment of the bird lost by humanization, through activities, materials and movements that stimulates it to develop natural behavior. In order to generate animal welfare and improve the skills of survival of the species, condition that will allow an approximation to a possible release and reintegration to the natural habitat of the bird to continue the natural biological cycle established.
